Map Asia 2009

AABSyS made its presence at the Map Asia 2009, the 8th Annual conference and exhibition on geospatial information, technology and applications. Map Asia 2009 was held at Singapore between the 18th and 20th of August 2009.

The fast growth of infrastructure establishments in the region of Asia provides a vast scope for implementing Geographic Information Technologies such as Photogrammetry, Global Positioning System (GPS), Remote Sensing and Imaging to meet the requirements of the Geo-informatics community. Map Asia is such a platform initiated since 2002 for the Asian Geo-Informatics community to realise, recognise, and reveal the stages of dissemination of Geospatial Information. Map Asia is the largest Annual International Conference and Exhibition on Geospatial Information, Technology and Applications in the region.

AABSyS IT Pvt. Ltd., as part of increasing its presence in the Asian market for providing GIS and Remote Sensing services, made its presence at the Map Asia 2009 at Singapore with a significant leverage on promoting new technology implementations at the various stages of GIS services.
