3D Floor plans provides the ability to visualize the interior of a residential house, apartment with furtnitire layout, floor coverings, wall textures, color schemes to be utilized for a better look to the interior of the architectural construction. 3d floor plans provide the basic layout of an interior of a civil construction be it a residential building, a complex, a shopping mall, an office infrastructure, factory layout, public utility services such as airports, railway stations and other government offices. With the technology advancements, the use of 3-dimensional perspectives has increased to a great extent. Each of these industry sectors do strategically create the detailed 3d floor plan layout of the interior and visualizations which help them in distinguishing and optimizing the colors used, objects, textures of floors / walls, ceiling designs, furniture layouts and performing various space planning exercises.

Once the 2d plan has been created, the 3rd dimension is introduced into the floor plan and the perspective views are created. For this from the 2d floor plans, a 3d CAD model is created with the help of the elevations of the construction. Different objects are placed as per the customer requirement and the appropriate colors, textures are assigned as well. The 3d model with the assigned external settings are put for rendering, which creates the different perspectives of the model in the form of a view or a picture. The 3d rendered views is taken from different angles to give a better idea on the floor plan.
