Agriculture:

Agricultural Mapping

AABSyS uses imagery data at different spatial, spectral and temporal resolutions for agriculture and crop assessment, crop health, change detection, environmental analysis, irrigated landscape mapping, yield determination and soils analysis. Scheduling and timing of image acquisition is very important to get the accurate information and AABSyS will always hinge on the main goals and the type of information that the end user is hoping to gain. Once data has been collected it can be implemented into a mapping environment such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for management and control of agricultural resources.

AABSyS will take advantage of Satellite or Aerial Remote Sensing (RS) technology in the improvement of the present systems of acquiring and generating agricultural and resources data. AABSyS image processing analysts have tons of experience in:

AABSyS uses GIS and Remote Sensing technologies in the fields of forest management, watershed management, desertification combat, biodiversity management, environmental monitoring and evaluation, and so on.

Mining & Geology:

Mining and Geology Mapping

AABSyS typically uses Aerial imagery acquired from hyperspectral and multispectral imaging sensors such as Landsat, ASTER, AVIRIS, and Hyperion for geological surveys, alteration zones mapping, and geomorphology applications. Satellite imagery correlated with ground truth data is also used for assessments of change due to natural events such as volcanic eruptions, floods, and earthquakes. The important aspects of these studies are supported by ground truth data collected with field portable spectroradiometers.

AABSyS uses image analysis software packages such as ENVI, ERMapper, ERDAS Imagine and MultiSpec, to easily build focused and detailed spectral libraries tailored to the application requirements. Main applications of AABSyS in Mining & Geology are:

Environmental Impact Assessment:

Environmental Impact Assessment

AABSyS is having experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies to define the status of environment (like air quality data, water quality data etc.). AABSyS caters to the need of creating and disseminating of organised environmental data for various developmental initiatives, AABSyS stores data in GIS format and makes it available to all environmental impact assessment studies in a cost effective and timely manner.

 

Wireless Telecommunications:

Terrain Mapping

In today's competitive market, the wireless telecommunication industry has been driven by the need to provide better service coverage while reducing infrastructure costs. The solution lies in determining the optimum location of towers.

AABSyS’s Clutter Data has been developed for the Radio Frequency (RF) Propagation environment to help engineers refine their signal loss prediction models according to the characteristics of the underlying terrain and ground cover.

Mapping land cover data is critical to wireless network design because the surface cover affects propagation of the digital wireless signal. Clutter data is classified as the man-made and natural features that may impair radio frequency propagation by reflection, diffraction, absorption, or scattering of the transmission waves.

Engineers can determine the optimum location for towers by integrating Clutter Data with elevation data (DEM), and physical attribute data, and with propagation models with help of RF software programs.

AABSyS supplies a wide range of high quality and up-to-date high resolutions spatial datasets up to 2.5m and 5m resolution.
