AABSyS typically uses Aerial imagery acquired from hyperspectral and multispectral imaging sensors such as Landsat, ASTER, AVIRIS, and Hyperion for geological surveys, alteration zones mapping, and geomorphology applications. Satellite imagery correlated with ground truth data is also used for assessments of change due to natural events such as volcanic eruptions, floods, and earthquakes.
