Description:
Vectorization of maps (in TIFF format) was performed by heads-up-digitization as per customer specifications. Entities such as plots, houses, streets and their respective numbers were captured on different layers. Post digitization the data was cleaned up, topologies were created, and polygons for plots and houses were closed.Each map was geo-referenced using geodetic coordinates and maps were merged into a single vectorized map using affined method of transformation. Object grouping for plots, houses, streets and their respective numbering was performed. Final quality control included the use of tailor made automated programs and manual tracking before delivery to the customer in DWG and DXF formats.
