About AABTonics

AABSyS IT brings to you AABTonics, a unique opportunity to showcase your game changing GIS innovations, receive industry recognition and get a headstart to your entrepreneurial journey. AABTonics is open to students from colleges and universities all around the globe, to present their distinct GIS ideas, iterate products and solutions, creatively solve problems big and small, and shake up the future of the GIS industry.

AABTonics is an AABSyS IT Academia Engagement Program, encouraging the young minds to foster their entrepreneurial spirit.

Participation Requirements

  • Students must be pursuing a full-time course, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized college or institution.
  • Those pursuing bachelor’s degree, only 3rd and 4th year students can participate.
  • Students must register in teams of 2 to 4 members, with an appointed Team Lead, with whom all the communications to be exchanged with by AABSyS IT
  • One person cannot be a member of more than one team.
  • All the members of the team should be from the same college.
  • Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team.
  • Abide by all the Terms and Conditions.

How to Participate?

To be in the running for AABTonics, submit your GIS idea/ solution/ innovation, such as

  • Mapping/ Remote Sensing/ Drone/ Photogrammetry or any other service.
  • Web/ mobile/ physical / or any other application solving a problem.
  • Any GIS-related idea with a social, economical or commercial application of impactful significance.

Levels and Timeline

Level-I

  • Submit a write up giving a vivid insight about your idea/ solution/ innovation along with justifying your choice of GIS area and a brief team member introduction.
  • The write-up will be in 2000-3000 words, and should be submitted in PDF format.
  • You will be able to make submissions until the deadline for this round.

Level-II

  • Qualifying teams from Level I will work on the presentation/ video/ prototype submission.
  • This presentation/ video/ prototype should be demonstrated before the AABTonics panel.
  • You will be able to make submissions until the deadline for this round.
  • Note: Maximum limit shall be 15 slides for presentations and 10 mins duration for videos.

Evaluation Criteria

Prize and Recognition

  • All participants will be awarded an e-certificate for participation on successful Level I submission.
  • The top 3 teams chosen by the AABTonics panel will be declared as follows and offered following rewards.
